Emmanuelle Alt: Editor in Chief of Vogue Paris
Emmanuelle Alt was appointed editor in chief of Vogue Paris, announced Romatet Xavier, President of Conde Nast France. This appointment follows the departure of Carine Roitfeld and will be effective from 1 February 2011. Stylist and fashion editor for talent is recognized and respected internationally, Emmanuelle Alt 10 years was fashion editor of Vogue Paris. Emma has spent her entire career in fashion where after several years of collaboration in IT and many women's magazines, in 1993 she became fashion editor of the magazine 20 years. She holds the same position for the magazine Mixed from 1998 and joined Vogue in Paris in 2000. "Vogue Paris is doing very well and I wanted to entrust the editorship to someone who can provide continuity while bringing new life" said Xavier Romatet. "Emmanuelle all professional and personal qualities needed to continue to Vogue Paris referent of the world's leading fashion magazines. Vogue Paris must be a collective venture in which the passionate glances of the most creative and most diverse on fashion, beauty, expressed through the collaboration of the greatest photographers and stylists Emmanuelle very familiar. I give her full confidence and lead to embody this demanding and prestigious brand and make it live in all its dimensions, including that of digital development" added Xavier Romatet. Emmanuelle Alt is now so totally devoted exclusively to her new position.
"It's a great honor for me, but also a great pleasure to get to the head of Vogue Paris that I know very well" said Emmanuelle Alt "while working with very talented teams, I will try to develop the incredible potential of Vogue Paris" she adds. Emma will work closely with Olivier Lalanne, deputy editor of Vogue Paris whose scope of responsibilities is widened. Olivier Lalanne ensure only the editorship of Vogue Hommes International.
